🌟 The Story of Moses

A long time ago, in a land called Egypt, a baby boy was born to a Hebrew family. His parents loved him very much, but the king of Egyptβ€”called Pharaohβ€”had made a terrible rule that put all Hebrew baby boys in danger.

πŸ‘Ά A Special Baby in a Basket

To keep her baby safe, the boy’s mother placed him gently in a basket and set it afloat on the Nile River, trusting God to protect him.
The baby drifted peacefully down the river… and who should find him but Pharaoh’s daughter! She saw the baby, felt compassion, and decided to raise him as her own. She named him Moses, which means β€œdrawn from the water.”

🏰 Growing Up in the Palace

Moses grew up in the Egyptian palace surrounded by riches, but he never forgot that he was a Hebrew, and he cared deeply about his people, who were forced to work as slaves.

πŸ”₯ The Burning Bush

One day, when Moses was older and living far away from Egypt, he saw something amazingβ€”a bush that was on fire but wasn’t burning up!
When he came closer, he heard God speak to him:

β€œMoses, I have heard the cries of my people. I am sending you to help them.”

Moses was nervous and unsure, but God promised, β€œI will be with you.”

🏞️ Let My People Go

Moses returned to Egypt and bravely told Pharaoh:

β€œLet my people go!”

At first, Pharaoh refused. But after many signs from God, he finally agreed. Moses then led the Hebrew people out of Egypt, across the desert, and toward freedom.

🌊 A Path Through the Sea

As they traveled, they reached the Red Seaβ€”and Pharaoh’s army followed them!
The people were scared, but Moses trusted God. He lifted his staff, and God parted the sea, opening a dry path right through the middle!
The people walked safely to the other side.

πŸ“œ The Ten Commandments

Later, on Mount Sinai, God gave Moses Ten Commandmentsβ€”special rules to help people love God and love each other. Moses brought these commandments to the people, guiding them as they formed a new nation.

🌈 A Leader Chosen by God

Moses spent the rest of his life leading, teaching, and caring for his people. He wasn’t perfect, but he was brave, faithful, and trusted God even when things were hard.

And because he listened when God called, Moses helped an entire nation find freedom.
